Certifications (CCNA Security, Voice), MCP, A+ Yesterday 04:19 PM #1 Cisco 2851s worth getting?
Not sure if this is the right section to post it in but through work we have a few 2851s that have been collecting dust. I asked about them and the sales guy said he would sell them to me for $21 a pop but to double check with my boss as he may just give them to me for free. I know Cisco is moving away from the ISR gen 1 and focusing on gen 2 with all the new features with IOS 15.2 and such. My question is would it be worth it to stock up on these for labbing purposes? Or should I just save on the electric bill and stick to gns3.

Let me apologize in advance if punctuality and spelling is incorrect. I mostly respond on my samsung galaxy 2 when im free and fixing little details are a pain.Quote JustFred Senior Member Join Date Feb 2012 Location DeepSpace 9 Posts 318 Yesterday 04:37 PM #2
The 1841s, 2811 and up all support IOS 15. I will definitely get them for that price.
I've learned that I have a lot to learn. H. Jackson Brown, Jr.Quote + Reply to Thread « Previous Thread|Next Thread »
